Fall Hunting and Fishing Expo, Saturday, August 18, at Bass Pro Shops, Hooksett

Get set for the fall hunting and fishing seasons at a big New Hampshire Sporting Expo at Bass Pro Shops in Hooksett, N.H., on Saturday, August 18, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free.

The Expo will feature dozens of local hunting- and fishing-related businesses, from gear to guides. This Expo will be part of the annual Bass Pro Shops Fall Hunting Classic and Sale which will feature seminars and sales throughout the store. There will be plenty of giveaways and raffles provided by Bass Pro Shops and other various vendors.

“We’re delighted that Bass Pro Shops is hosting the Expo as part of New Hampshire’s celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Week,” said Mark Beauchesne, Advertising and Promotions Coordinator for the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department. “This is a great chance to get revved up for the upcoming seasons.”

Stop by the N.H. Fish and Game Department booth at the Expo to get your hunting and fishing questions answered. The Department’s Operation Game Thief traveling exhibit will be on display. The New Hampshire Motor Speedway will be in attendance with one of their stock race cars along with multiple branches of the military and Veterans services. The Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire, Fish and Game’s nonprofit partner, will host a special raffle benefiting the Foundation, with many great sporting prizes.

The Bass Pro Shops Hunting and Fishing Expo will include many FREE demonstrations and hands-on activities, including:

• Daisy BB Gun Range

• Kids Archery Range

• Kids Crafts

• 30 ft. Kayak Pool

• Family Game Center
