With summer in full swing, where are you finding the fish that you are catching?

We have been fishing mid lake humps, these are typically 4-8 feet deep on the tops and then drop off into the basins. Weed lines go out to about 13 FOW and fishing these locations, we will position the boat on top of the hump.

Casting out into the deeper water and working the bait back to the weed line. Worms and crankbaits have been what we have been using and when the bait gets near the weed line, this imitates a bait fish seeking cover, as the bigger predator fish use these weed edges as ambush zones.
Don’t be afraid of working the bait into the weeds as there are patches of holes in the weeds especially on the outer edges. These are more areas that these fish use as ambush locations and worth trying to get your bait through them.
